So let’s talk Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark!

Snow Tubing The Best
We headed to Camelback Ski Area for an overnight stay and enjoy some of the best snow tubing in Pennsylvania. Camelback Lodge has one of the biggest snow tubing parks in the U.S. and takes family fun to a whole new level. As road trip fanatics, we’ve been to most of the ski resorts in PA so we were really excited to check out Camelback’s nighttime galactic snow tubing.
The galactic experience was better than we imagined — racing down the mountainside in the middle of an LED light show was “out of this world” fun! The park features 42 lanes and three hours of tubing fun and we took full advantage of the lanes and went up and down multiple times together on double tubes, as well as single tube rides.
Afterward, we caught a breather and stopped by the Meatball Mayhem food truck for a savory meatball sandwich and several cold beers. To keep it cozy, Trails End Pub & Grille and the Waffle Cabin are also slope-side and we loved being able to snuggle up by the fire pit after our nighttime ride down the lanes.
Other dining options include Berrelli’s Italian Chophouse, Summit House at Camelback, and of course Café & Bar.
You can purchase tickets on the day of your visit for $25 – $35. They typically sell out, so we recommend getting there early!
It’s Always 84° Aquatopia Waterpark
Booking the galactic snow tubing at night gave us the opportunity to head to Aquatopia as soon as we arrived, checked in, and received our all-access wrist bands. With a quick change in our spacious two-bedroom suite, we were all ready for some Aquatopia fun in the sun — indoor style.

All guests of Camelback Lodge have unlimited access to Aquatopia.
Camelback Lodge was amazing and booked us a private cabana near the bigger water slides, which was a perfect spot to chill, have lunch and enjoy the sides up close. With 13 slides, a wave pool, an adventure river, multilevel play, and spray structures, Aquatopia was impressive! It felt great to be able to move around and still have space to enjoy the park without being cramped among the crowd.

The kids had a blast going down all the wild water slides and we all loved the FlowRider — a simulated surfing experience. I was in awe of how quickly my kids got the hang of “surfing” and I love how the lifeguard on duty walked each kid through a fun little routine for each surfer to master before wiping out.
For us, the swim-up bar was also quite fun. For a minute, we almost felt like we were on top of a cruise ship, ha!

Some of the other indoor fun and adventure include laser tag, rock climbing, escape room, Arcadia arcade, virtual reality, the rope course, bumper car, and a lot more.

Camelback Resort & Lodge offers loads of family bonding, outdoor fun, and adventures for everyone in the family.
