Twice as nice the second time around at Woodloch<\/a>! This past October, my family and I were once again invited to visit Woodloch Resort<\/a> but this time during Halloween season. Our picturesque drive through the amber fall foliage to Woodloch was absolutely beautiful and the lake view from the resort when we arrived that evening was as serene and beautiful as you can imagine on a crisp autumn night.<\/div>\n

Woodloch<\/a> is rated among TripAdvisor’s #1 family resorts in America and rightfully so! We found our room suite to be spacious and comfy for our entire crew and after settling in for a bit, we took in the sunset as we walked through the perfectly manicured grounds that felt very familiar and nostalgic with an unmistakable “Dirty Dancing” vibe.<\/div>\n

During our stay, we quickly realized that among Woodloch’s<\/a> many fun family amenities and activities, delicious daily meals also become an event to look forward to throughout the day. The selection of yummy options offered seemed endless and there is usually a fun themed meal event during your stay. While we were there, Woodloch<\/a> hosted an outdoor BBQ for all the guests to enjoy.<\/div>\n

A really important concern during our recent stay at Woodloch<\/a> is of course, the safety measures put in place to safeguard our health and well being against contracting Covid-19 <\/a>while we were on the grounds. As a family, we felt confident that Woodloch covered every safety precaution to make sure we were all protected. Masks were require within the resort at all times except for meal times and the entire staff was extremely helpful and accommodating with any questions we may have had.<\/div>\n

This year, Woodloch<\/a> introduced their Haunted Walk for the Halloween season and let\u2019s just say, it did not disappoint! It\u2019s a fairly quick walk, about 10-15 minutes long, with lots of spooky fun to navigate through and at the end, a well deserved cup of yummy hot chocolate by the fire pit before jumping back on the open tractor for a quick trip back to the resort. We all agreed that the Hunted Walk was the highlight of our stay this time around!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Everyone at Woodloch Resort<\/a> truly valves family. You can see it and feel it so deeply as you walk throughout the property. The vintage photos of the generations past, the warm sense of family that has taken over what has been build over the years is evident in every detail from the grand fire place in the dining hall to the carefully thought out and planned theme events. That is what makes Woodloch<\/a> so special and why we keep going back!<\/div>\n
